Guadalupe - Producer Info

This lot was grown by Guadalupe Martinez Perez and her husband Delfino on their 7-hectare family farm, El Rancho del Abuelo (“The Grandfather’s Ranch”), a tribute to Delfino’s father who planted the first coffee trees on their land decades ago.

Over the years, Guadalupe and Delfino have expanded the farm through dedication, government replanting programs, and sheer persistence, turning a few hundred trees into a thriving 7-hectare operation intercropped with fruit trees like lemons, plums, and apricots.

Guadalupe has become a leader in her community, attending workshops and perfecting post-harvest techniques that have raised the quality of their coffees to specialty level. She represents their work at coffee events across Oaxaca, proudly sharing their story and their coffee.

For the Martinez Perez family, coffee is heritage, progress, and unity. Each harvest is a reminder of what can grow when care, skill, and family come together.
