Imaculada Barbosa, a visionary farmer in Brazil’s Cerrado Mineiro region, is part of the renowned Barbosa family that has been producing exceptional coffee for generations. Alongside her husband Danilo and sons Vitor Marcelo and Sergio Ricardo, Imaculada has carried the legacy of the family’s farming tradition into the modern era, blending cutting-edge technology with a deep respect for the land.
After shifting the family’s focus to specialty coffee in 2018, Imaculada’s coffees began to receive international acclaim, with the Barbosa family’s coffee being awarded the prestigious Cup of Excellence in 2021. Imaculada’s commitment to quality and sustainability is evident in every bean, and her hard work helps ensure that each harvest represents the very best of the Cerrado Mineiro region.

I'm getting into the Mood for the first time, and went with a sampling of five different beans. I'm a big fan of Canadian companies, and look at quality first. This blissful offering from Ms. Corsi was excellent. Full flavour, with brown sugar & dark chocolate notes rising up to shine. An excellent brew, and I'm hoping there's more bliss on the horizon.
