PSA: Coffee Merchandise is Finally Here!

This has been a long time coming. I have wanted to offer coffee-related merchandise for a while now but I struggled with one fundamental aspect of it all. What merchandise was no-nonsense, affordable and served into Mood's values around Approachable Coffee? So, I ultimately decided to take my time with this. I tested A LOT of merchandise. I have a mountain of coffee stuff lying around, spent from all the testing I put all the products through. My only regret is not getting all my testing on video… it would have made for some very entertaining b-rolls.

Anyways, I digress. What I’m trying to get at is, what I sell is important to me. Everything I represent has a purpose. And for merchandise, I’ve chosen items that I love and that I stand by 100%. I am able to make great coffee from these products and I have no doubt you will be able to as well. Kalita Wave 155 Stainless Steel Coffee Dripper

I went through a phase where I exclusively drank pour overs. During that time I believe I tried every single one on the market. Too big, too small, too fast, too slow. Then I came across the Kalita Wave 155 (small version). I am a proponent of a flat bottom pour over because I find it gives you a longer extraction time coupled with more surface area coverage, which is what I personally prefer.

Hario Mini-Slim Plus Grinder 

Having a hand grinder on hand (no pun intended) makes life so much easier. It changes your entire coffee experience – you start to see and feel how different coffees and roasts create different textures and resistances when hand-grinding. It’s also great for when you’re on the go – camping, travelling, etc. You don’t need electricity to use this grinder, just a bit of muscle.
